Advantages at a glance.
- Wider brakes (410mm (diameter) x 220mm (width)) on increased pressure (10 bar) system with bigger brake chambers (type 24) have been put in to the application to have an effective breaking experience and give better life of brake liners
- Modern Suspension. Parabolic springs for smooth ride on undulated roads with two hydraulic shock absorbers on the front axle provides better ride comfort for the driver & initial row passengers. Shock absorbers (front & rear) are fine-tuned for the bus application
- High engine power of 170kW (235HP) and maximum engine torque of 850Nm with flat torque characteristic (range: 1200-1600rpm) and 90% torque availability at 1200rpm (low rpm) enables excellent pickup & lesser gearshifts offering better fuel efficiency and driving comfort
- Mercedes-Benz designed G85 - 6 speed gearbox with input torque handling capacity of 850Nm. Overdrive gear (sub1 gear ratio) for lower engine RPM during highway cruising provides sufficient torque & high power
